The DC GuestHouse Policies
- Included with each room are a
full American breakfast, wireless Internet connection, satellite TV, DVD player,
and access to our DVD
library.
- Some rooms have
private baths and fireplaces. Please check the
House Tour for the specifics of
each room.
- Reservations are taken by
telephone
9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Reservations can be made online at any time.
- All rooms are single or double
occupancy. A third person may occupy specific rooms by special
arrangement for an additional charge of $25.
- All rates and fees are subject
to the Washington, DC hotel tax of 14.5%.
- A two-night minimum stay
is required if Saturday night is included.
- A three-night minimum stay
is required over specific holidays and major city events.
- Smoking is permitted in
designated, outside areas only.
- Fireplaces may be lit only by
GuestHouse staff for a fee of $25.
- Pets are not permitted.
- Check in time is 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm
or by special arrangement.
- Check out time is 11:00 am.
- Government Travel – The DC
GuestHouse accepts prevailing federal government rates and cancellations
in accordance with
Government Services Administration policy.
Cancellation Policy
Because we are a small business and there is high demand for our accommodations,
we must enforce a strict cancellation and no-show policy. For cancellations
occurring 31 days or more there is no cancellation fee. For cancellations
occurring 15 - 30 days prior to scheduled arrival, a full refund is granted
minus a cancellation fee of 10% of the entire reserved stay.
Cancellations made within 14 days of scheduled arrival are subject to no refund.
All cancellation fees are subject to the
14.5% DC hotel tax. |
