On Aug 13th I was on my way out of NYC to an unknown destination, 4hrs later we arrived at our home for the next 4 days! From the outside it seems like any other B&B but oh my goodness once inside I was blown away with every single thing about this beautiful place! It was late and we got a speedy tour of the house before being lead into our room...it's called The Chocolate & Gold Room! I instantly fell in love, it is huge with a working fireplace  ( can't wait to go back in winter) and a private bathroom. Artwork from all over the world greet you at every step and the owner's made us feel right at home, friendly without being pushy.  We loved the breakfasts truly 5 star dining and coffee lots and lots of coffee! We almost always go somewhere tropical but I'm so happy that Char booked this vacation and that she selected The DC Guest House  as our home away from home. We will be back real soon. Thanks to Ron, Mike and the wonderful chef Randy we had a wonderful time! Tom we look forward to meeting you at our next visit.
